Christopher M. Roberts is a partner in West Rhode & Roberts, Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Roberts specializes in audit and accounting services for clients in a broad variety of industries and business organizations.
Mr. Roberts received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from San Diego State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Roberts' experience includes conducting financial statement audits and financial and management consulting for manufacturing, construction, and not-for-profit organizations. He has extensive experience in auditing non-profit organizations that receive federal and state funding.
Mr. Roberts was one of the first CPAs in the country to implement SFAS 116 and 117, issued in the early 1990s for non-profit accounting. He has continued to stay on the cutting edge of non-profit accounting.
Mr. Roberts is a classroom Junior Achievement volunteer, a member of the San Diego Kiwanis, Board Treasurer of the Mount Helix Park Foundation, and volunteers with several tax exempt organizations.
