Cheryl M. Rhode is a partner in West Rhode & Roberts, Certified Public Accountants. Ms. Rhode specializes in audit, accounting, business valuation, and litigation services for clients in a broad variety of industries and business organizations.

Ms. Rhode received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from San Diego State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Valuation Analyst. Ms. Rhode is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. She is also a candidate member of the American Society of Appraisers and a member of the Business Valuation Section of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Ms. Rhode's accounting experience includes financial statement audits and financial consulting for construction, healthcare, real property, educational, financial, and not-for-profit organizations. Her accounting experience also includes review and implementation of internal control procedures, preparation of management letters in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and preparation of corporate and individual tax returns.

Ms. Rhode's consulting experience includes research, analysis, and preparation of business valuations, calculating damage estimates for litigation proceedings, corporate profitability analysis, and strategic planning. Ms. Rhode has performed business valuations for a variety of industries including construction, food service distribution, professional practices, real estate development, temporary personnel placement, and retail and wholesale distributors.

Ms. Rhode is also currently the Treasurer of the nonprofit board of SAY, San Diego, Inc.
